HERO, a community based organization, strives to enable the people of Hale and surrounding counties to become empowered through knowledge and access to opportunities that strengthen the family. The HERO Community Campus in Greensboro, Alabama, is the home for the Family Resource Center and many additional services and programs. The Knowledge Network, funded by an Appalachian Regional Commission grant, exists to bring both people and organizations together to better share information and form “partnerships” to create positive solutions.
